We currently operate in four districts in Uganda that include Mityana, Mubende, Kiboga and Kyankwanzi. Our services target the needy in remote areas and this has contributed a lot in improving the quality of life for our beneficiaries.
Mityana Charity contributed in construction of the Kikumbi Church which had been without roof for over a decade (ten years). Having a Christian background and one of the organisation goals and objectives the charity had to take part in ensuring that the house of God had its roof constructed.
The School's boys and girls hostels whose construction was funded by medicev foundation in the United Kingdom. The bulocks were officially commissioned by the Rt. Rev. Dr. Stephen Kazimba Mugalu, the Bishop of Mityana Diocese on 06th/02/2015.
The real problem is the contamination of ground water because in rural areas there is often no sewage collection system, so we also construct latrines, particularly at schools, to try to help to overcome this problem. We currently have a series of water projects in progress, and would welcome donations to enable us to do more of this work.
The Charity helps Mityana Diocese with Training Conferences. Many Archdeacons have had their training paid for through the Mityana Charity. Mesach being one of them and currently is now the youngest Archdeacon in Mityana Diocese.
Our Mission: Mityana (U) Charity exists to support and positively contribute to lives of vulnerable Ugandans to attain full recognition in the society, through provision of Education Support, Poverty Relief Initiatives, Health Strengthening, Human Rights Awareness and embracing Christian Values.
